  • We provide Psychiatric Residential Treatment for girls ages 10–17, offering a structured, supportive, and clinically informed environment designed to promote emotional safety, stabilization, and long-term healing.

  • Psychiatry

    Psychiatric care is provided through Nevada Mental Health, including services from Dr. Timothy Jeider and affiliated providers.

    • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation completed upon enrollment and every six months thereafter

    • Ongoing psychiatric follow-up and medication management with Dr. Jeider or another Nevada Mental Health provider

    • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support each client’s overall treatment goals

    Nursing

    Our nursing team provides consistent medical oversight and compassionate care throughout each client’s stay.

    • Physical assessment by a Registered Nurse upon enrollment and weekly thereafter

    • Nursing check-ins three times daily during medication administration

    • Provision of basic medical care for each client

    • Coordination of appointments with outside medical providers when needs extend beyond our scope of care

    Therapy

    Therapeutic services are individualized, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate, supporting emotional growth and family connection.

    • Completion of a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment upon enrollment

    • Development of a Master Treatment Plan within the first 30 days

    • Implementation of individualized Safety Plans when clinically indicated

    • Individual therapy sessions at least once per week

    • Weekly family therapy sessions to strengthen communication and connection

    • Group therapy sessions twice per week

    • Monthly Treatment Team meetings to review progress and adjust treatment goals

    • Substance use counseling provided as needed

    Residential Care

    Our residential program provides continuous structure, safety, and support within a nurturing environment.

    • 24/7 supervision and support during all activities

    • Access to the Sensory Room and other therapeutic areas of the ranch as appropriate

    • Daily implementation and monitoring of each client’s Master Treatment Plan

    • Ongoing support to help clients understand their personal treatment goals and progress

    • Guidance and supervision to promote healthy hygiene, cleanliness, and safe personal living spaces

    Education

    Academic programming is individualized and designed to support continued educational progress during treatment.

    • Personalized academic plans based on credits, learning needs, interests, and abilities

    • Education provided Monday–Friday, year-round, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • Bi-weekly academic progress reports sent to parents or guardians

    • Daily social skills development activities during designated skills hour

    Fitness

    Physical wellness is an integral part of overall mental health and emotional regulation.

    • Individual fitness assessment completed upon enrollment and monthly thereafter

    • Goal-setting to encourage healthy movement and body awareness

    • Daily, organized opportunities for exercise and sports

    Nutrition

    Nutritional care supports physical health, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

    • Nutritional assessment by a dietitian upon enrollment and as needed

    • Personalized meal planning to accommodate nutritional needs and preferences

    • Three balanced meals and two snacks provided daily, with multiple options available

    • Ongoing support to ensure proper hydration

    Recreation

    Recreational activities promote connection, enjoyment, and experiential learning.

    • Weekly opportunities for on- and off-campus recreational activities

    • Activities may include hiking, swimming, fishing, and community events

    Ranch Life

    Ranch-based programming offers meaningful responsibility, skill-building, and connection with nature.

    • Daily opportunities to care for and interact with animals

    • Hands-on learning in gardening, crop care, and land stewardship

    • Development of employment and life skills through activities such as working in the ranch stand, gardening, and pursuing ServSafe certification

  • We encourage family involvement and offer an open visitation policy. Families are welcome to visit as often as possible, with 24 hours’ notice requested when feasible.

  • Each client has two scheduled phone calls per week with family. Parents or guardians may contact the program at any time.

  • Staffing ratio of 1 staff member to every 5 clients

    Clients are always fully supervised and remain within staff line of sight to ensure safety and support
